The strength and vitality of Sturgeon County are closely tied to the success of our local businesses. Recognizing this, Sturgeon County is taking proactive steps to better understand and support the needs of businesses within our community.
Our Business Retention & Expansion (BR + E) project is designed to gather insights into the future plans and needs of local businesses, as well as how business owners and managers perceive Sturgeon County as a place to do business. The information collected through this survey will help guide future economic development initiatives and ensure we are supporting a thriving business environment.
The project team will review completed surveys to identify both challenges and opportunities facing our business community. Challenges may include concerns related to relocation, closure, or downsizing. Opportunities may include plans for expansion, investment, or hiring.
We invite you to participate in the BR + E survey. With the support of Deloitte Canada, selected businesses may be contacted via email or telephone between May and June 2026. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
